Project Details
In many communities, girls have limited exposure to STEM opportunities due to persistent misconceptions, low awareness of career pathways in technology, and beliefs that fields such as Artificial Intelligence are too complex or for the male gender only. These barriers often discourage early interest and reduce female participation in STEM-related fields.
The Chizaram Children Literacy Foundation (CCLF) delivers interactive learning sessions that promote gender equality in STEM by introducing girls to opportunities in technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The sessions explain key STEM concepts, the role of technology in society, and the relevance of AI, while also addressing misconceptions that discourage participation.
As part of the intervention, over 30 girls have been guided on how to register for free online tech learning platforms, giving them direct access to beginner-friendly resources to begin their journey in technology.
